If your company is transitioning from Gmail to Microsoft 365 Outlook (or reverse) you will have to switch your email/calendar integration to Workable as well. If you have altered your domain with the provider, advise all users to change their emails in Workable before anything else.
If you are using Single Sign-on (SSO) and need to change your user emails please contact your Account Manager, success specialist, or support for assistance.
If your domain remains the same, proceed directly with the transition process:
Step 1 - Disable Gmail/Google calendar
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Apps
- Disable both switches for Gmail and Google calendar
- Click Save changes; this action will revert the integration to the basic Workable email and calendar option
If you have events scheduled, you won't be allowed to disable the company calendar and will face an error message. In this case, contact us to complete the disconnection process.
The existing events will not be canceled but they will be out of sync meaning that if there is any update or you try to accept/reject one of these events the actions will not be synced in Workable.
Step 2 - Enable Microsoft 365 Outlook
