Use your client's Workable account to submit candidates and view feedback as an external recruiter.

Join a Workable account
If you work with a client who uses Workable as their hiring platform, look out for an email inviting you to collaborate and submit candidates as an external recruiter. Once you have received your client's email invitation, click on the Submit Candidates button in the email to join their account and get started.
Submit resumes
All new candidates you upload as an external recruiter will be visible in the Sourced stage of the recruiting pipeline for the hiring team to review. There are two ways to submit candidates:
- Upload in Workable
Find the desired job on the jobs dashboard and click on the three dots on the right side to access the relevant option from the menu.
- Upload via email
Just reply to the email invitation you received from your client and attach the resumes of the candidates suitable for the job. If you include text in the body of the email, this will be added as a comment for your client to review.
Important notes:
1. Do not use the application form on the client's careers page. If you do so, the client won't be able to see that the candidates came from you and your own stats will be affected.
2. Make sure the resume you upload has the candidate's name. This will help your client detect duplicate candidates. You can also include the candidate's email or your own email that you use to log in to Workable.
3. Do not use your agency's generic email, as this will not parse that resume and mark the candidate as a duplicate.
Interact with the candidates
Use the jobs dashboard to see all the jobs your client needs help with. Click on any stage of the recruiting pipeline to track the progress of the candidates you have submitted and how they move along the recruiting pipeline.
- Add a comment
Your client might leave comments for the rest of the hiring team or mention you specifically to map out the next actions or communication with this candidate. Reply back, or mention another colleague by typing '@' and the name of the person you wish to notify along with your comment. - Send emails and schedule events
Communicate efficiently with your candidates and schedule events via the Timeline according to your client's requests. The communication history will be stored automatically for your client to view.
