Best for: Candidate screening and interviewing
Features: Export of candidate interview scores to Workable
Support: support@hubert.ai
Hubert is using AI technology to automate the early stages of the screening process and enables talented hiring teams to spend time where it's best used.
When candidates apply for an open position, they are automatically invited to complete a first-round screening interview. Once the interview is completed, candidates are automatically scored within your existing workflow and organized into Workable recruiting stages of your choice.
Setting up the integration
Generate an API Token
In your Workable account as a Super Admin:
- Click your profile icon in the upper right and navigate to Settings > Integrations > Apps.
- Locate the API Access Tokens section near the top of the page.
- Click the button to generate a new token. Your API key is a long string of random letters and numbers and can be copied only upon generation.
- Ensure you select the below scopes: r_account, r_candidates, r_jobs, w_candidates, and w_comments.
- Once you have generated the API token, send it to your Hubert account manager.
Configure Hubert stages in your recruiting pipeline
This step configures your recruiting pipeline in Workable, ensuring candidates are automatically invited to Hubert interviews and moved to the appropriate Workable stages.
- Navigate to Settings > Workflow.
- Edit your default recruiting pipeline or your pipelines if you use multiple pipelines.
- Create a new stage specifically for Hubert (the most common stage type used is Assessment), naming it: Hubert: [Template ID]. Your customer success manager at Hubert will give you the unique template ID. This stage links to the specific interview template Hubert will use for the job, and you should name it exactly that.
- Locate the Offer stage (or your preferred stage for reviewing top performers) and click Edit. Rename the stage exactly to (HubertLeads) in parentheses. This is where Hubert leads will be moved.
Create a user for the Hubert integration
Inviting another Admin user, based on the email address Hubert will provide, is necessary for Hubert to be able to write comments on candidate cards based on evaluations. Make sure you give the user the below permissions and select 'all jobs' to ensure the user has access to all relevant candidates.
Using the integration
Once candidates apply, Hubert will automatically invite them to the interview and move them to the designated Hubert stage you created earlier. Hubert interview results will be visible in Workable as follows:
- Star (tagged with #hubert_lead): Indicates the candidate is a top lead, having passed the interview and scored above the threshold (Hubert lead). The candidate is automatically moved to the HubertLeads stage you renamed earlier for top performers.
- Thumbs Up (tagged with #hubert_passed): The candidate passed the interview but scored below the threshold.
- Thumbs Down (tagged with #hubert_not_qualified): The candidate did not meet the qualifications and is marked as unqualified.
You can filter candidates in the Pipeline view or Candidates page based on the above tags or sort by best evaluation rating.
Note: The default thumbs rating scale is recommended for this integration.
Under the Review tab, you can see information on candidates’ interview results, including links to detailed summaries. There are two types of summaries:
-
Application summary:
This summary is available only after logging into your Hubert account, enabling you to manually accept or reject candidates.
-
Open application summary:
This is a shareable interview summary that others can view without logging in. However, it does not allow you to manually accept or reject candidates.
