When you click 'Publish' in the job editor, your posting will automatically enter the review queue. Our experienced specialists will check it to ensure it matches the job posting guidelines. This process ensures that all customer job postings have a strong chance of receiving free visibility on major job boards, while protecting the candidate experience by ensuring that job opportunities are clear, respectful, and relevant. This process not only supports fair access to quality roles but also safeguards candidates and users from potential cases of fraud.
The review will usually only take a few hours and will be expedited once your jobs consistently pass the review process.
If your job is rejected, we will email you to explain the reason and specify any required job updates. You may also see an account-related warning message under the Find Candidates tab.
In rare cases where we cannot verify your business, Workable will request additional business verification. This is required only once.
If your job is accepted for posting, its status in Workable will update automatically from "Published (In Review)" to "Published". The job will be sent to job boards and appear for candidates once the post is indexed on those sites.
