To ensure the trust and safety of all Workable users and candidates, we take steps to verify the details of every company using Workable. This means that in cases where we are unable to fully verify business details with the information available, more information is requested to assist with this. Additional account verification is only necessary in a small percentage of cases and will be requested via email once you've published a job.
This additional verification is only required once. Once the process has been completed, future jobs will no longer be impacted. Until that time, no jobs will be published to external job boards.
We reserve the right to suspend an account if the information is not provided or if the information is insufficient to complete the verification process. We will review the information and respond within 1 business day.
Verifying your account
Complete the following steps:
- In Workable, go to your user icon, then Your Profile. Confirm that the email address listed there is a business email address. A business email address is an email at your company's domain. For example, an "@gmail.com" address is not associated with a business's domain. An "@yourcompany.com" address is. If you do not possess a business email address, invite a coworker who does have one to your Workable account. Ask them to log in and contact us from their business email to confirm their membership.
- Go to your user icon, then Settings, then Company Profile. Confirm that the "website" is filled out correctly with your company's website address.
- If Workable Support cited any issues with your job description specifically, make sure you've resolved those issues to comply with our job board posting guidelines.
- Reply to our verification email or contact email@example.com with all of the following information:
Your name and job title
Full business name, business address and business phone
A link to your LinkedIn page or social media presence
A utility bill with address and name shown
