This article lists reasons you might be unable to log in to Workable and offers solutions to resolve them.
Workable
- I'm trying to log in for the first time

Before logging into your account, a Workable Admin member should trigger an invitation email that grants you access to Workable. Follow these steps:
- Click on the link in the invitation email
- Enter your first and last name as you would like them to appear in Workable
- Set a password that meets our requirements or select to join using your Google/LinkedIn/Microsoft account
- You will be logged in and taken to the homepage of your Workable account
In the future, you can use the Workable login page to log in again.
Notes:
I did not receive the invitation email
- Check your spam folder and search for the following sender domain: @workablemail.com
- If you still can't find the email, ask your Workable Admin to resend the invitation
- If this doesn't work, please contact our Support team at support@workable.com, including the Workable Admin, who sent you the invitation
- I see the message 'Your email address or password is incorrect'

- Confirm that you use the correct email address (especially if you have multiple business emails). Do not use email aliases to log in.
- If the issue persists, clear your browser cache, try logging in via an Incognito or Private browser window, and reset your password.
- If your company has connected Workable to your single sign-on (SSO) provider, you need to follow these steps to sign in.
- I did not receive the password reset email

- Confirm that you have followed the correct steps to request a password reset.
- Check your spam folder and search for the following sender domain: @workablemail.com
- Confirm that you are using the correct email address; if the email you used to request a password is not linked to an active profile in Workable, you will not receive the email.
- I'm using the "email me a link to sign in instantly" method, but I don't receive any email
- This link will work only if you have completed the sign-up process and have an active Workable account. If your company has enabled auto-join, you must follow these instructions to sign up.
- If you already have a Workable account and you wish to reset your password, follow these steps.
- My account has been locked
- For security reasons, your account may be locked due to many failed login attempts. If this happens:

- You can unlock your account from the email you will receive in your Inbox
- Once your account is unlocked, reset your password and try to log in again entering the updated credentials
- You can unlock your account from the email you will receive in your Inbox
Referrals portal
Follow the instructions here to sign in to the Referrals platform. If you are still unable to log in:

Confirm that you are using the correct URL for your company's Referrals portal. If you are unsure, please contact your HR team to receive the correct site URL. The site's address will look like:
https://[companyname].workable.com/referrals - If this is your first time signing in:
- Click Sign Up at the bottom of the window and use your work email address to join.
- Do not use the "email me a link to sign in instantly" sign-in method; this will only work if you already have a Workable or Referrals account.
- Click Sign Up at the bottom of the window and use your work email address to join.

Confirm that you are using your work email. If you do but are still unable to sign in, please contact your HR team and request a manual invite to the referrals platform.
