Workable's Microsoft 365 integration must be enabled to use this feature.
When you've successfully connected Microsoft 365, an option will appear when scheduling events, which you can select to have a Teams Meet link included on the calendar invite. The link will belong to the person selected as the "Meeting organizer" of the event in Workable.
Teams links appear asynchronously, so once you send the event invitation, you will see the message "MS Teams meeting link will appear here once it’s available" next to the call link.
If the MS Teams link is not generated after a couple of minutes, refresh your page, and the link will appear hyperlinked with the option to copy it.
If an event is created with a Teams Meet link, you can edit the event, but you won't be able to remove or change the Teams link. In this situation, we would suggest deleting the previous event and creating a new event from scatch which will include a new Teams link.
For an event created without a Teams Meet link, it's possible to edit the event and include a link later in time.
Troubleshooting
If you face sync issues between Workable and your Microsoft 365 account, as a first step, try to disconnect and reconnect your Microsoft account from Your profile.
Some other common issues with Teams meet links:
- My Teams link is not being generated
- The most common cause of this issue is that the Microsoft account linked to Workable is not authorized for online meeting providers, likely due to your Microsoft account settings. Contact your IT team and ask them to enable this Microsoft account for use with online meeting providers. If the issue persists after the permission update on your end, contact us for further assistance.
