Referrals is an internal employee portal for companies using Workable. Integrated with your Workable account, this is the easiest way to find, track and evaluate referrals and retain your best employees.
Via the Referrals portal, employees are able to:
- Refer someone for an open role
- Share one or all open roles with their professional or social network
- Apply internally for an open role
- Track their active and successful referrals as well as potential referral rewards
To set up the portal navigate to Settings > Referrals in Workable and complete the setup options:
- Choose if the portal will be used for referrals, internal applications or both
- Set the email notification option for users and customize referral emails if needed
- Share your referrals link with your employees or invite people manually to the portal
- Optionally, add a default referral reward (e.g. $250) for successful referrals and include a reward policy
- Customize the questions asked when someone makes a referral or applies internally
- Roll out the portal across your company
Edit referrals settings per job by navigating to the Find Candidates tab for each job. From there, you can:
- Exclude specific jobs from Referrals
- Promote specific jobs in Referrals
- Edit the referral reward on a job basis
- Send a custom email to your employees inviting them to submit referrals for a particular job
