To access the report, click the Reports page in the navigation bar. You can refine your data by filtering the results based on job, department, requisition location, hiring manager, requisition owner, status or date. To see all entries for the selected time filter export the report to CSV.
Use the Hiring Plan report to see the budget forecasts, the budget compared with offered salaries, the average time to fill a requisition, and more. The report displays up to 1000 entries.
🔎 Since the report is filtered by "Plan date", if you choose to view results for a custom date range, you must include up to the very last day of the month when filtering. For example, to forecast up through June then the date filter must include June 30th. If the filter was only set to June 15th then requisitions with a Plan Date in June will not appear in the results.
Tabular data
Select the columns you want to include in the Hiring Plan report by clicking Customize data in the upper left. Any new requisition fields added under your Hiring Plan settings will also appear here. Overdue requisitions will be marked with red.
Commonly used data includes:
- Open Date: The date when the requisition status was set to Open
- Filled Date: The date when the associated candidate was moved to the Hired pipeline step
- Time to fill: The number of days between the Open Date and Filled Date (Filled Date - Open Date);❗when calculating time to fill for a candidate, the period that a requisition has been put on hold is not calculated.
- Plan Date: The month when the candidate was planned to have started
- Start Date: The start date set when making an offer or moving a candidate to the Hired step
- Start Date Difference: The number of days difference between the Start Date and Plan Date (Start Date - Plan Date)
- Salary Budgeted: This is the highest amount in the salary range
- Salary Offered: The salary that was offered to the candidate
- Candidate name: The candidate associated with the specific requisition
You can refine your data by filtering the results based on job, department, requisition location, hiring manager, owner, status, and more.
Total currency
The currency used for the totals at the top of the report is the most common currency used for the requisitions you are currently viewing. If your filtering shows 5 reqs in USD$ and 3 reqs in EUR€, the total currency would be shown in USD$.
Toggle between the currency for filtered reqs and the most common currency across all requisitions in your account by clicking the Change Currency option.
This option will appear if the most common currency type in the data you are viewing is different from the most common currency used across the account. For example, if your filtered dataset shows 5 reqs in USD$, but there are 10 other reqs on the account in EUR€, you'll be able to toggle between USD$ and EUR€.
Currency calculations
When multiple currencies are represented in the data, the salary is converted from each currency into the most common currency in the dataset using today's rates. For example, if you are viewing requisitions that all have salary in USD$, the currency is USD$. If you apply a different filter and the requisitions are mostly in EUR€, but there are some in USD$, then the USD$ salaries would be converted to EUR€ for the totals.
Jobs that do not have an annual salary will have their pay converted to annual. For example, if a candidate is offered $20/hour, that pay rate is converted to annual pay (pay rate X # hours per week X # weeks per year).
