Important:
- All jobs are subject to LinkedIn’s policies and may not be eligible for free visibility - you can learn more here. To qualify for free visibility on LinkedIn, your Workable paid account must be at least 30 days old.
- Recruitment and staffing agencies, as well as search firms, are required to use LinkedIn’s paid promotion features. This FAQ page provides more information about this policy.
- LinkedIn free posts are not available for trial accounts. You will need to upgrade to a paid Workable plan to receive free visibility on LinkedIn.
Connect your LinkedIn Company Page to Workable to publish jobs on LinkedIn. After performing this one-time setup, published Workable jobs will be automatically added to your LinkedIn Company Page 'Jobs’ tab.
If you don't have a company LinkedIn page, create one as shown below.
Create a company LinkedIn page
(If you already have a company LinkedIn page you can skip this step and move on to the next section.)
To create a company LinkedIn page:
- Visit the LinkedIn setup page.
- Select Company from the page type options.
- Fill in all the needed company details and then click on 'Create page'.
Now, you are ready to connect this company page with Workable.
Connect your LinkedIn company page to Workable
There are two ways to do that:
1. Enter your LinkedIn company name into the field when prompted during job publication from the Find Candidates > Free job boards section:
OR
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Apps > LinkedIn and select 'Enter Company Name'.
Upon clicking the button:
- The modal provides the most relevant LinkedIn company name matches, as provided by LinkedIn. You can verify that this is the correct LinkedIn page by clicking "View on LinkedIn".
- If none of the suggestions is correct, you can freely search for some other company name by selecting the "Other" option.
- If, for any reason, you still can't find your LinkedIn Company page, you can still use the old method by entering your LinkedIn Company ID instead.
Once you are done, click Connect. Jobs that are published through Workable will automatically be attached to your Company Page (under the 'Jobs' section).

Troubleshooting & FAQs
- What will happen if I don't connect my LinkedIn company page in Workable?
A connection between your LinkedIn company page and Workable is required to publish jobs on LinkedIn.
- I am receiving the error "This LinkedIn Company ID has already been taken".
If your LinkedIn ID is attached to another account (probably an old inactive one), the system will generate the error "This LinkedIn Company ID has already been taken". Contact us to release the ID number.
- Can I post jobs for my subsidiary companies under my parent LinkedIn company page?
The same LinkedIn company page cannot be linked to more than one Workable account. As a workaround, you can send an affiliation request to LinkedIn (you don’t need a recruiter license to submit this request).
An affiliated LinkedIn Page is linked to another LinkedIn Page by the LinkedIn Support team and represents a parent or subsidiary organization. Jobs associated with the affiliated pages can be visible on the parent page.
- How can I edit my connected LinkedIn company page?
After the initial setup, your LinkedIn company page cannot be changed in the settings. Contact support to complete the update.
