Managers can review their team’s time tracking activity in two ways:
- Directly on each employee’s profile under the Time tracking tab.
- Through the Attendance report.
This helps you ensure accurate records of worked hours and time off.
Monitoring time tracking in the employee profile
Use this view for quick checks of individual employee time tracking activity.
- Navigate to your direct report's employee profile.
- Click on the Time tracking tab in their profile.
- Review their time tracking logs. Here, you’ll see:
- Clock-ins and clock-outs for each day
- Total hours worked for work days; time off and holiday data will also appear (with dark grey color) to easily see whether your direct report was supposed to work or not.
💡 As a Manager, you won’t be able to clock in/out or add hours on behalf of your direct reports, but you can edit or delete a time tracking entry if needed by clicking on the time entry.
The Workable app enables you to access Time Tracking directly from your employees’ profiles.
-
Εasily access your direct reports' profiles from your home page.
- Go to the 'Time tracking' tab to review the time tracking logs on a weekly view. You can choose the best view for your needs - calendar or list.
- To view or manage a specific time entry, just tap on it to expand it.
Monitoring team activity via the Attendance report
Use the Attendance report for team-wide monitoring and spotting trends and deviations. It's a good practice to check the attendance report at the end of the workday to confirm that time tracking was recorded correctly.
- Go to the Reports section in the top navigation.
- Select the Attendance report.
- Apply filters for the date range and choose how to group the results. Here, you’ll see:
- Daily attendance (who was present, absent, or on leave)
- Scheduled and tracked working hours per employee
- Patterns of late arrivals or early departures
