Scheduling emails/text messages is available for:
- Individual emails/text messages
- Bulk emails/ bulk text messages
To start, click the split button next to the Send email.
You will be prompted to choose when you would like for the email to be sent:
- The default options are:
- Next working day morning
- Next working day afternoon
- The following Monday morning
- If you select the Custom date and time option, you can choose the date, exact time, and timezone to schedule the email/text message.
When the email/text message is scheduled, the relevant activity is displayed on the candidate's timeline. When the scheduled message is sent, the scheduled activity disappears and is replaced by the sent message activity.
Send now or cancel a scheduled message
Under the three dots menu of the scheduled timeline item, you will be able to:
- Send immediately a scheduled email/text message
- Cancel a scheduled email/text message
Self-scheduling
If a scheduled email contains a self-schedule link, then the availability will apply from the scheduled day onwards. For example, if the self-schedule link’s availability is from ‘Tomorrow’ and for ‘1 week’ and you schedule the email to be sent in 1 week, then the availability will start from the next working day after the sending and will last for a week.
Reporting
To see the messages that were scheduled or failed, visit the Activity Stream and select the relevant candidate filters:
- Scheduled message
- Failed message
The scheduled activity (for individual or bulk messages) will also be included under the Activity report.
