Availability: All plans with the Recruiting package (not available to the Free plan)
Key info: Breakdown of all account activities by user and candidate
Date filter: Activity creation date (e.g., the timestamp on a comment)
Update frequency: Every 4 hours
To access the report, click the Reports page in the navigation bar. Use the drop-down options to filter the report and specify the desired timeframe.
The table provides a chronological list of all hiring team activities. When the activity relates directly to a candidate, the candidate is named. If there’s been a lot of hiring activity, move through the pages via the links at the bottom left of the report. Export the report to CSV and expect the file in your email within a few moments.
Table filtering
The interactive table enables direct filtering within the report view. You can filter for any column, including the following, plus filters for the rest of the visible columns:
- Member performing the activity: The filter displays account members who appear in the current data set (up to 10,000 entries).
- Activity type: Select one or more activity types to narrow down your view. 🔎 To see the full list of all activities captured in the activity report, download the file here.
- Candidate: Filter by candidate names. Note that activities not associated with a candidate (e.g. job creation) are not included in candidate-based filters.
Note: Filtering by job and activity creation time is still available at the report level, which is why it is not duplicated at the table level.
Table filters are saved when you save the report, and they are also applied when you export, schedule, or send the report. Exports include the entire data set, not just the 10,000 row limit shown on screen.
Table sorting & customization
You can sort the Activity log report by any column. Click on a column header to sort the table data in ascending or descending order.
- Sorting settings are saved when the report is saved.
- Sorting is not applied to exports, scheduled, or sent reports — those follow the default order of entries.
Additionally, the table is customizable by clicking the Columns button (you need to hover over your mouse within the Candidate activities table in order to see the field):
- You can reorder columns via drag-and-drop.
- You can remove columns that are not relevant to you for a cleaner view.
These customizations also persist when the report is saved. You can customize the columns of the report and 3 new columns have been added:
- Requisition code: visible if the account has hiring plan enabled and populated only in case of requisition activities
- Job location
- Job department
- Job stage: the source job stage of the candidate in case of candidate actions
- Reporting stage: the source reporting stage of the candidate in case of candidate actions
Note: Only a subset of filters is available for standard plan.

Candidate reporting stage vs candidate job stage
- Candidate job stage: is the stage of a job pipeline that the activity takes place on. This stage can be used to identify performed on specific stages on a per job basis. For example filter for activities performed in the Shortlisted stage of the Sales department pipeline, i.e. for jobs using the Sales department pipeline.
- Candidate reporting stage: is the stage of the common reporting pipeline that the activity takes place on. This stage can be used to filter activities across jobs and pipelines. For example filter for activities performed in the Hired stage of any job, or the Applied stage of any job.
Target job stage vs target reporting stage
- Target job stage: the job pipeline stage the candidate was moved to.
- Target reporting stage: the corresponding reporting stage the candidate was moved to.
Note: The Target job stage / Target reporting stage are only populated in move to stage activities and empty otherwise (Candidate moved to stage).
Typical use cases
-

Activity is Candidate moved to stage , Target job stage is [desired stage name], Activity date is [desired time frame]
-
Find which members have moved candidates to a specific stage in a given timeframe:
Same filters as in the previous example. In enterprise account cases, users will additionally be able to group by member to identify unique members.
-

Activity is Candidate moved to stage , Target reporting stage is [desired stage name], Activity date is [desired time frame]
-

Same filters as in the previous example - with reporting stage. In enterprise account cases, users will additionally be able to group by member to identify unique members.
