You may want to duplicate a job or create a copy of it in Workable if you've recruited for it in the past and need to publish it on job boards again. The below will carry over to the clone:
- Job description, details, and targeting options (under 'Free job boards')
- Application form settings (including any custom application questions)
- Video interview setup settings (if there is a video interview setup)
- Assessment setup settings (if there is an assessment setup)
Candidates in the original job will not carry over, so you'll start with a clean slate. Any promising candidates from the original posting can be moved to the new one so you can proceed with the hiring process without any loss in progress.
To duplicate a job, locate the original job on the Jobs page.
- If the job is active, click the
menu and select Duplicate job:
- If the job is archived, hover over it and click Duplicate:
This will create a draft job titled "Copy of [original job title]". Remove "Copy of" from the title, and then the job can be published.
Note: When duplicating a job that has the "Advertise in different location" option enabled under Targeting options of Free job boards, this will also be copied over to the new job.
