The most common reasons why one or more candidate profiles are no longer appearing in the system are the below:
- Due to a user action deleting the candidates. In case you have the GDPR features enabled, we will not be able to restore their profiles since they are subject to GDPR; otherwise, you can contact us by sharing the candidate's email.
- Due to a candidate action withdrawing their application. GDPR compliance features include the right to erasure. With this option enabled, the application confirmation email that a candidate receives automatically after applying will include an option for them to withdraw from the application process and delete their data.

Due to a system action based on your data retention settings under Compliance. Extra caution should be taken when enabling the data retention setting for sourced candidates.
Sourced candidates are considered notified about your Privacy Notice if they receive an email or an event from you within 30 days, which automatically includes the privacy notice footer.
- Due to your job access. If you're the only user who can't see a candidate, but your colleagues can access their profile, it means you don't have access to the job the candidate applied for. This could be because the candidate was moved to a job that you don't have access to. In this case, please contact a Workable Admin to request access to the specific job.
