Field mapping in Enboarder
When Workable and Enboarder are connected, candidates who are moved into the Hired stage in Workable will be automatically transferred to Enboarder. They'll appear on the Reports page under the Workflow tab. You can check below the field mapping for the candidate info that can be exported:
| Workable field | Enboarder field | Notes |
| Candidate name | Employee name | |
| Candidate phone | Employee mobile | |
| Candidate email | Employee email | |
| Hire date | Start date | By default, the Hire date is when the candidate was moved to the Hired stage in Workable, but you can pull a different date by using custom fields in Workable, as explained below. |
| Member who moved the candidate | Direct manager | The member who moved the candidate to the Hired stage is mapped to direct managers. |
| Reporting to | Requisition Hiring Manager | An employee record in Bamboo should exist with the same name as the Workable member name of the Requisition Hiring Manager. |
| ➕ Workable can send extra details based on your custom fields in Enboarder. To set up these fields in Enboarder, go to the cog/settings page, navigate to the Custom Fields tab, and add any of the fields you wish to map: | ||

Start date mapping
By default, Enboarder uses the date when the candidate is moved to the Hired stage as the Start date. If you would like to set up an alternative date, you can create a user-provided custom field in your Workable account with a date field type and the name 'Start date'.
If this field has a value when you move a candidate to the Hired stage, then it will be used as the Start date in Enboarder.
Extra Managers mapping
By default, the integration supports one manager role (Direct Manager). This role is automatically mapped to the Workable member who moved the candidate to the Hired stage.
If you’d like to include extra managers (e.g., Recruiter, Mentor) with their mobile numbers or emails, you’ll need to create user-provided custom fields in Workable with a text field type.
Follow the naming convention based on your stakeholder label in Enboarder. A minimum of two fields is required for each stakeholder.
- First, create a field for the name of the stakeholder. The field name must be exactly the same as the stakeholder label (e.g., Recruiter).
- Next, create a field for their email or mobile number. Use the stakeholder label followed by the type of contact detail (e.g., Recruiter Email or Recruiter Mobile).

This setup ensures that Enboarder can correctly map each additional manager as a dynamic stakeholder during onboarding.
