Workable Video interviews
You can resend a video interview by clicking the video interview button on the candidate's profile in the following situations:
- Before the initial interview is completed: Upon resending, the initial interview invitation will automatically be canceled
- After the due date has past
- After the interview is completed: The original video response will remain on the candidate timeline and is not overwritten, provided that it has been completed and submitted by the candidate. Partially completed interviews are not saved.
While Workable automatically checks the candidate's internet connection and camera/mic before recording can begin, you may want to resend the video interview if there are technical difficulties or other extenuating circumstances.
When resending, remember that candidates may have already seen the interview questions you've prepared.
Third-party video interview providers
For third-party video interview providers, the option to resend a video interview is not available (the button becomes disabled after the initial send). This is because the candidate receives a link and video interview ID directly from the provider via email. You may, however, access your “scheduled” video interviews page in your video interview provider account to review or manage those video interview invitations - either resend (if possible from the provider interface) or cancel and resend from Workable.
