Navigate to the Hiring Plan dashboard and click the three dots to select Edit requisition:
You can edit open, pending, approved, and rejected requisitions. Filled requisitions cannot be edited. To change the salary or start date of a recently filled requisition, you will need to reopen and refill it, entering the new salary and start date information, as explained here.
Navigate to your Hiring Plan settings to check which fields require re-approval and make edits if needed (three dots menu).
Note: The requisition location will always trigger re-approval when edited.
Fields not requiring re-approval
Edits to fields that do not require reapproval can be made anytime without re-triggering the approval process.
Please note that the following fields are not editable: requisition code, job title, and department. If you changed the job department and you wish to reflect this change in the requisition or you need to change the associated job, contact us for assistance.
Fields requiring re-approval
If you edit a field requiring reapproval, the req will go through the approval workflow again before the req is updated. A message will appear when reviewing requisition details to notify you:
The approvers will receive an email and inbox item that enables them to see the fields that have been edited as well as what was the previous value. The change will only be finalized once the approval workflow is complete.
Retriggering the approval workflow is a good workaround if you need to change one or more requisition approvers for a pending requisition. Learn here how to do this.
❗If a request for re-approval is made for an open requisition, the original open date and time to fill metric will be updated with the new dates after the re-approval.
