You can connect your Certn account to Workable to initiate background checks directly from a candidate's profile and receive results in Workable.
Setting up the integration
To integrate, you'll first need to generate an API key from your Certn account. Follow the steps in Certn's Workable integration guide to create and copy your API key. If you don't have access to your Certn account, contact Certn support at support@certn.co.
With the API key in hand, sign in to Workable as a Super Admin user:
- Click your profile icon in the upper right and navigate to Integrations > Apps.
- Locate Certn in the list of background check integrations and click on it.
- Add your API key to the field that appears
- Click Update settings
That's it! The integration is now complete, and you will now be able to perform background checks from the candidate's timeline.
After a background check is completed, you will be notified, and the candidate's timeline will be updated with a link to Certn, where you can log in and view the results.
