Once your direct reports share their self-review with you, as a manager, you will receive a notification on your home page, inbox, and email to complete the review of your direct reports' performance.
You can see all the reviews for your direct reports or reporting line under Employees > Performance. Here, you can see your direct report details and the review status. You can start writing the manager reviews from the cycle start date until the submission deadline.
Submitting your manager review
- Start writing your manager reviews by clicking Start review for each direct report.
- Each section of your manager review form will contain questions you need to answer. You may also be able to rate sections if HR admins enable ratings for your review.
- If your direct report has already shared their review, you can view them side by side while writing yours.
- You can save your review as a draft until you are ready to continue or submit it. After you submit it, it will become visible to your manager, but your direct reports won’t have access to the review until you explicitly share it with them.
Sharing your manager review
Once you are happy with your review, you can share it with each of your direct reports. At this step, your direct reports will be notified and they can see your manager review. You won't be able to edit your review after you've shared it unless this option is enabled by HR Admins during the cycle setup process.
Signing your review
If HR Admins enable the sign-off option, you will be prompted to sign your review to confirm you've discussed the results with your direct reports and agreed on them. A review is available to sign only if both the reviewee and reviewer have shared their reviews.
When you sign the review, you confirm you've discussed and agreed on the results with the employee. You won't be able to edit your review after it’s been signed by any of the participants.
