Integrating with AssessFirst

AssessFirst combines cutting edge behavioural science and artificial intelligence. Built upon solid psychological foundations, the use of the assessment suite significantly reduces bias in hiring: helping you to make the best recruitment, management, and people development decisions possible. They provide multiple modules to address candidate attraction, recruitment, and development challenges. 

When you integrate Workable with AssessFirst, you can send assessments to candidates from Workable and receive the results on the candidate's Timeline (and Review tab) for the hiring team to review. 

 

Setting up the integration

In your Workable account as a Super Admin:

1. Click your profile icon in the upper right, click on Settings, and navigate to Integrations > Apps.
2. Locate the API Access Tokens section near the top of the page.
3. Click the button to generate a new token, and make sure you select all scopes. Your API key is a long string of random letters and numbers and can be copied only upon generation.
4. Next, locate your Workable subdomain and note it down.

In your AssessFirst account (from an Admin account):

1. Click on the icon in the top right corner to access your settings and select Integrations.
2. Click on Workable.
3. Activate the integration by:
   • Pasting the Workable token you obtained earlier
   • Pasting your Workable subdomain obtained earlier
   • Entering your language ID (FR, EN)
4. Copy the API token that will be generated once you complete the steps.

Back in your Workable account as a Super Admin:

1. Click your profile icon in the upper right, click on Settings, and navigate to Integrations > Apps.
2. Locate AssessFirst in the list of assessment providers integrations and click on it.
3. Paste the API key you obtained during activation in AssessFirst.
4. Click Update Settings.

That's it! The connection will be complete, and you can start sending out assessment tests through Workable.

 

Using the integration

You can now add AssessFirst assessments to relevant pipeline stages in the Workflow tab during the job creation. 

When you send an assessment, you will receive the results in Workable in the Review tab with a link to view the detailed report on AssessFirst.
