Through this integration via Zapier, you can set up a Zap that will create a new user in StaffCircle once a candidate is moved to the Hired stage in Workable.
Setting up the integration
To set up the integration, you’ll need a Zapier account. If you don’t have one already, sign up to get started and create a new zap.
Step 1 - Set the trigger
We need to tell Zapier that when a candidate's stage is updated in Workable (the trigger), a new user should be created in StaffCircle (the action).
- Choose Workable as the trigger app, then ‘Updated Candidate Stage’ as the event, and click Continue.
- Log into your Workable account.
- Choose a job (or leave blank if you want this to apply to all hired candidates) and set the stage to Hired.
- Next, test the trigger or continue to the next step.
Step 2 - Generate an API key
Before completing your Zap follow the below instructions:
- Log into your StaffCirce account.
- Go to the Integrations section (as an admin) and click on the API Key tab.
- Create an API Key and note it down. This will be used in the Zap in the next step.
- Select the Claim called Directory.
Step 3 - Set the action
- Create a new step in your Zap called Custom Request.
- Set the information as shown below:
- Next, test the action or activate the Zap.
Step 3 - Activate the Zap
Review the trigger and action steps and turn on your Zap by clicking Publish.
