Integrating with Trainual

Through this integration via Zapier, you can set up a zap that will create a new user in Trainual once a candidate is moved to a certain stage in Workable. 

 

Setting up the integration

To set up the integration, you’ll need a Zapier account. If you don’t have one already, sign up to get started and create a new zap. 

Step 1 - Set the trigger

We need to tell Zapier that when a candidate's stage is updated in Workable (the trigger), then a new user should be invited in Trainual (the action).

1. Choose Workable as the trigger app, then ‘Updated Candidate Stage’ as the event, and click Continue
2. Log into your Workable account
3. Choose a job (or leave blank if you want this to apply to all hired candidates) and set the stage to Hired
   
4. Next, test the trigger or continue to the next step

Step 2 - Set the action

1. Set the action by selecting 'Invite New User' as the event 
   
2. Log into your Trainual account
3. Specify the required fields for the new user; name, email address, permission level, etc
   
4. Next, test the action with a test candidate in Workable to ensure the correct information is passing from Workable over to Trainual. 

Step 3 - Activate the Zap

Review the trigger and action steps and turn on your Zap by clicking Publish.
