As an HR Admin, you can add, edit or delete historic entries for employee fields. To open the history modal of an employee field, click the button next to it.
Adding a historic entry
If a field change (e.g., position, department, salary) is entered into Workable late, you can add historical entries retroactively.
- Click + Add historic entry on the upper right of the history modal
- Provide the date of change; this date should be in the past and before the date when the current value was last updated.
- Provide the field value
- Once ready, click Save
Editing a historic entry
- Click the pencil icon next to the historic entry you need to update
- Update the field value and/or the date when the field was updated
- Click Save when you're done
Note: For a field's current value entry, you can only update the date it was changed to its current value, not the value itself. If you wish to change the field’s current value, you need to edit the employee profile and set a new value for the employee field.
Deleting a historic entry
- Click the trash can next to the historic entry you need to update
- Update the field value and/or the date when the field was updated
- Click Save when you're done
Note: Deleting a field's current value entry is not possible. If you wish to clear the field’s current value, you need to edit the employee profile and remove the value set for the employee field.
