Integrating with SeekOut

SeekOut revolutionizes talent acquisition through AI-powered sourcing, connecting recruiters with high-quality candidates in a streamlined manner. Its user-friendly interface and advanced search capabilities make it a key platform for efficient and effective hiring.

This integration enables you to export candidate data from SeekOut into Workable with contact information and work/education history. Candidate data can be sent to Workable and attached to an existing job pipeline.

 

Setting up the integration

In your Workable account:

1. Log in as an admin user, click your profile icon in the upper right and navigate to Settings > Integrations > Apps
2. Locate the API Access Tokens section near the top of the page
3. Click the button to generate a new token. Your API key is a long string of random letters and numbers and can be copied only upon generation. 
4. Next, locate your Workable subdomain and note it down

In your SeekOut account:

1. Click your name at the bottom left of your SeekOut dashboard and select Integrations. If this option is missing from the menu, contact your Customer Success Manager or support@seekout.com to enable ATS integrations for your company.
   

2. Click + Add a Connection

3. Locate Workable in the list of integrations and click the Connect button

4. On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Check Export only as Prospects if you choose not to export candidates to job pools in your ATS. Last, click Confirm Choices to continue to the next step.

5. On the Credentials tab, enter your Workable API key in the respective field. In the API HostName field, enter the following URL, replacing the [subdomain] with the Workable subdomain you noted down earlier.

   • https://[subdomain].workable.com

6. Click Submit to save your credentials.

SeekOut will automatically attempt to verify your connection after the first time you set it up. To test the integration, select a job from the dropdown list and click Send Test Candidate to export a test candidate to Workable.

When successful, Workable will appear under the Integrations section with the label "Connected." 

On the Integrations page, click the arrow next to a connected integration to edit or remove it from your SeekOut account.

 

Using the integration

To export candidates from a SeekOut project to Workable:

1. Go to your SeekOut project
2. Click the Export icon and either choose Export All or tick the box next to specific profiles and then choose Export X to Workable
3. Select a job from the dropdown menu

When successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete". 

Exported fields:

• First and Last Name
• Headline
• Email 
• Phone 
• Address(es)
  
• Social Media URL(s)
• Source
• Education (School, Degree, Start/End Dates)
• Experience (Company, Title, Start/End Dates)
