There is no dedicated notification sent to the hiring team when an employee submits a referral. Referred candidates will be tagged automatically with #referrals, and their profile will show the "Referrer's name" as the source.
Where they appear in your pipeline depends on how the referral was submitted: if the employee submitted/referred the candidate directly through the portal, they will appear in the Sourced stage; if the employee shared a referral link and the candidate applied themselves, they will appear in the Applied stage. The referral feedback will be accessible:
- In the candidate profile under the Referrals section
- By clicking the candidate source in the profile header
To review new referrals, go to the Candidates tab in the top menu and filter by the #referrals tag.
Premier and Enterprise customers can also schedule the Referred Candidates report to be sent to them automatically — a useful option for teams who want a regular summary without checking the pipeline manually.
