If an employee is not receiving the onboarding email, ask them to check their spam folder, as well as any inbox filters (such as the Gmail "Updates" folder), just in case the email was sent there.
Onboarding is in progress
To resend an onboarding email while the onboarding is in progress and before the employee's start date, follow the steps below:
- Visit the Onboarding tab under Employees.
- Locate the employee under In progress and click the three dots next to their name.
- Click Stop onboarding.
- Locate the employee under the Pending tab and click Onboard to start the onboarding process again.
If the start date has already passed and onboarding is still in progress, you won't be able to begin a new onboarding if you stop the existing one.
Onboarding is incomplete
If the employee profile is published, it's not possible to resend an onboarding link (these employees will appear under the Incomplete tab). In this case, you will need to invite the employees and have them update the information manually after they join Workable.
