If an employee is not receiving the onboarding email, ask them to check their spam folder, as well as any inbox filters (such as the Gmail "Updates" folder), just in case the email was sent there.
To resend an onboarding email while the onboarding is in progress, follow the steps below:
- Visit the Onboarding tab under Employees.
- Locate the employee under In progress and click the three dots next to their name.
- Click View details to open the tasks drawer.
- Locate the 'Welcome email' task and click 'Resend email' under the three dots menu.
The Welcome email will be sent to the personal email of the employee, as it was set when the onboarding workflow started. If the personal email has changed, you should stop and restart the onboarding workflow so that a new invitation is created and the employee can access the onboarding website. You can initiate onboarding for a draft or active employee profile, provided that the employee's start date is within the last 7 days.
