While you can't prevent anyone from accessing your jobs online or from applying for them, you can consider the following suggestions depending on what you wish to accomplish.
Restrict applicants from certain locations
- Make it very clear in your job description that you're seeking local candidates and won't be interviewing anyone outside of the region, as the company does not offer any paid relocation.
- Create an application question like "Are you located in x?" and make it a 'knock out' question. In this way, candidates that answered 'No' will be moved automatically to the Disqualified tab, so on the Applied stage- Qualified tab, you will only see the most relevant applicants.
Block candidates from all jobs
- Disqualify the candidate in question and then leave them on the job. This will allow our duplicate detection systems to automatically hide any further applications this candidate is making for that job so that you don't get spammed.
- If the same candidate is applying to multiple jobs, you can add a tag on their initial candidate profile like "do not consider for future roles". When team members review all candidacies, this tag will indicate to them not to proceed with this candidate.
Exclude candidates from selected locations while filtering
While filtering candidates by location you can choose to “hide candidates in selected locations”, so for example, if I “hide” London and Edinburgh, then everyone remaining will be outside of these locations.
