Hired is a service that helps match candidates with companies who are looking to hire. They simplify the search process by connecting the right people with the right companies at the right time. If you already have a Hired account, connecting it to Workable is easy. Once the integration is made you’ll be able to source candidates in Hired, and add them straight to your Workable pipeline.
Setting up the integration
In your Workable account:
- Click your profile icon in the upper right, click on Settings and navigate to Integrations
- Locate Hired in the list of sourcing integrations and click on it
- Click Generate Token and copy the long string of numbers and letters to your clipboard
In your Hired account:
- Visit their Integrations tab from the menu on the top right of the screen
- From the page that follows, find Workable and click Add API Key
- Paste in the long code and click Save
That’s it! You’re done. Your Workable and Hired accounts are now connected.
Using the integration
Import a position from Workable to Hired
To import a position from Workable to Hired, first create the jobs you’re hiring for inside Workable (jobs can be Published, or Internal). Next, create a search on Hired, and save that search as a position. You’ll see the option to connect to Workable. Select the correct position from the list of jobs created in Workable. Once the two are connected, you’ll be able to use Workable as your sourcing pipeline for the candidates you’ve found in Hired.
Use Hired to create a candidate profile in Workable
The real benefit of integrating Workable with Hired is the ability to track and manage your sourced candidates right through the recruiting pipeline.
When you run a search for a position in Hired that’s also connected to Workable, any candidate you request an interview with will automatically be added as a candidate profile to the Sourced stage of the job in your Workable pipeline. The profile will include the candidate’s resume and skills automatically – no need for data entry.
If the candidate accepts your company’s interview request, the Hired “Introduction” email you receive will include a link to the candidate’s profile in Workable, where you can schedule the interview, leave comments for your hiring team, or communicate with the candidate directly.
A Workable link will also be visible on the candidate’s profile in Hired, so jumping between the two applications is easy. Communicate in a way that suits you best.
