How do I sign up for the free trial?
Go to our free trial sign up page and create an account using your business email address.
Is the free trial a good option for me?
The Workable free trial works best if you’re planning to post a job and find candidates.
If you don’t think you’ll publish a job during the 15 day period, if you already post jobs through another system, or if you want to see more of what Workable can do then we recommend setting up a demo.
What should I do to get the most out of my trial?

Can I try out all the features?
During the free trial, you have access to all the features available to our Pay As You Go plan.
Why wasn’t my job approved for posting?
We’ll always contact you by email if your job isn’t able to be posted. Typically, we review two aspects of your account in order to approve your posts.
- Verification of a credible business presence to prevent fraud. We may request a utility bill or website domain verification to verify that the job opening is legitimate.
- Adherence to job description guidelines listed on the job creation page like ‘no discriminatory language’ and ‘use a singular job title (e.g. Nurse, not Nurses)’.
Additionally, there are some edge cases like multi-level marketing jobs or posts that do not offer direct employment (e.g. job fair ad) which are not able to be approved.
What happens when the trial ends?
When your trial’s over you’ll be able to purchase a monthly Pay As You Go plan or speak with one of our sales team members to discuss other plan options. If you don’t choose to continue your plan then your account will be archived automatically. You can come back and activate your account any time.
Can I get an extension on my trial?
We understand that sometimes you need a bit of extra time to make a decision. Contact us and we’ll be happy to give you some extra time to evaluate our product.
Can I export my data?
While you can download individual resumes at any time, our full export service is normally available only to paid customers. However, if you receive job applicants during your evaluation of Workable and decide it’s not the tool for you, we’ll do our best to help export them in a standard data format. Contact us for help.
Are there any usage limits during the free trial?
Feel free to use the trial account as if it were a paid plan. We’re happy to see users adopt our software quickly and easily. Please get in touch if you’d like to try a mass migration or email blast, just so we know you’re a legitimate user. We monitor features such as resume uploads, AI Recruiter or mass email actions to make sure they’re not abused by spambots.
How do I cancel my trial?
If you've started a trial and Workable doesn't seem like the right tool for you, you can downgrade or close your account from the Settings > Plan page. Before you do, don't hesitate to contact us for help or feedback.
