What is the difference between an admin, hiring manager and member?

Follow

Admin

Administrators have full permissions in Workable.

Administrators can:

  • Access and interact with all jobs, candidates and account options with full permissions
  • See everything happening on the account
  • Update any/all account settings
  • Purchase premium/sponsored job posts

Hiring Manager

Hiring managers are regular users on your account. A user can be set to be a hiring manager on a per job basis

Hiring managers can:

  • Create a draft of a job post
  • Access jobs and candidates for which they've been added to the hiring team
  • Edit jobs if they are assigned to the job's hiring team
  • Fully interact with candidates (including disqualifying and moving them through the recruiting pipeline)
  • Add private comments and messages that only admins and hiring managers can see
  • Use People Search (regardless of which jobs they are assigned to)
  • View reporting for jobs they are assigned to
  • Send and see offer letter details

Hiring managers can't:

  • Post jobs without approval from an admin
  • Access any account settings
  • Interact with jobs for which they are not on the hiring team
  • See candidates from jobs for which they are not on the hiring team
